Default Fairing for Road King

I am looking for an aftermarket fairing (one I can add a radio to). Any suggestions or experiences?

Thanks

Quadzilla. A guy I know keeps trying to get me to buy one. I guess they are really nice and good quality.

call north shore cycles in new hyde park and ask for adam! bought my quadzilla from them. best price around, and their customer service is second to no one! the true colors of a retailer isnt in what they sell, but how they react when there is a problem...and they were stand up guys over there. nothing but respect for how they do business and how they treated me.

heres a pic of my quadzilla on my rk custom. looks like a street glide, no? only difference is the amount of cash still in my pocket since i didnt buy a new sg!

there are a couple different popular fairings out there. the quad is probably the most popular (due to its low cost!). the sound system is superb, it is completly sealed so its difficult for water to get in, and its all fiberglass so its not unbelievably heavy on the forks. best thing i did to my bike.

I'm saving up to get a Tsukayn Fairing this winter. Everything I have found on them so far is positive, plus they are reasonably priced which can't be said about alot of the brands out there and they also use all the stock windshields and air deflectors which the Quad won't.

i was looking at the tsukayn too. the 6 week wait and having to assemble everything myself changed my mind. you can go with their setup, but its not marine-grade (aka water resistant) which kinda scared me off. having to dealer with japanese customer service was the nail in the coffin. paid $1309 for an american hoppe quadzilla, that i bought from a guy that was 20 miles away, that has his own physical store (not an internet store), put me over the top. and, true to form, there was a problem! and how they handled it made me a customer of theirs for life. north shore cycles in new hyde park, ny. aces!

oh, the quad definitely uses stock windshields! i have one on their now. just had to drill an extra two holes since they use a 5 hole setup instead of 3. no bending or anything, fit properly. i dunno about the dragonwings, but i venture to say i can figure out a way to make them fit!

I looked at the tsukayn, but I have an American bike, so I went with a Dead Center fairing like the fit and it used all of the HD stuff for fairings.

Dead Center got my business and they matched the two tone perfectly. Stay away from Corbin, they really messed me up.

Tsukayu is made in Hong Kong , not Japan. You can buy them stereo ready and put any brand in there you like. You can also get them unpainted and have whomever you like paint it. It is lockable and fiberglass. Assembly is minimal and easy. Wiring will need to be done on any brand to connect them to your bike.

All of the more popular, Hoppe, DCC, Drangonfly and Tsukayu ( and problably some others I missed) will work and each have many satisfied owners. Pick the one that has the features, or styling you like best.
