I just ordered the Wheeldock Center Stand for my 2009 Ultra. The short video on their site sold me. It looks so easy to install and use and standing it upright in the garage will allow my car to fit in there too. Anybody have a bad experience with this product?
Not a bad experience with the product. In fact, it's a great product. I droped my Ultra once while putting it on the stand. Since then, I always put my kickstand down first, (cheap insurance), then roll it back onto the center stand. Once you get the procedure down, it's very easy. If you are pulling on the handlebars, you're doing something wrong. As long as you always park front tire up, she will roll right onto the stand.
Last year I purchased a wheeldock for my FXDWG3 after seeing them at Bikeweek. Great product and fantastic customer service.
A week after I got my wheeldock, I replaced the 21" front tire with an Avon in the same size. When I got home from the shop the front wheel would not fit into the wheeldock Turns out the Avon is just a little fatter than the Dunlop, enough to not fit into my new wheeldock.
I called them and explained what happened, they said yeah the Avon tire requires a custom size wheeldock. "Send us back your stock one and we will make you a custom size one- give us about 2 weeks" Sure enough about 2 weeks later UPS showed up with the custom one. It fits perfect !
Great people to deal with and they stand behind their product.
