Hey Guys I am really wanting to swap out the bars on my 08 sg but I am not real sure what I need. Problem is during a long ride my shoulders and neck tighten up real bad.
I am thinking I need a bar that comes back a bit and maybe not as wide??
The local HD dealer said that if I change the bars to something like that my faring mirrors will be useless because the bars will be in the way??
Any suggestions on bars or personal experience appreciated.
I am having the same trouble with my neck and between my shoulder blades. I just got the Cyclesmiths 13" apes yesterday to get my arms totally horizontal. They say it really helps. I will be putting them on tomorrow.

I went with the Kuryakyn mirrors when I replaced the bars. I had the same problem with the pain between the shoulders also. The new bar took care of it.
I have the Harley extended bars, I think they call them the "reduced reach bars"? they cured me of my neck and shoulder pains AND the mirrors are only a little blocked. PS, picture is NOT good.
