Default Changing tires

When you take your wheels off to take to indy for tire change, do you remove the sprocket and rotors?

On the changer I use, the sprocket needs to come off for the demount bar to clear.

I took my IDS sprocket with me the last time I bought a tire, but they said they could not balance with it on. Said it wouldn't fit on the machine.

. . .I thought I read the tires have a mark on them to correspond to a spot on the rim (valve stem??) so that no balancing is required. . .?

The tire and rim would have to be perfectly true for that to work.
