I read the article this afternoon just like I did a while ago in the American Iron magazine. This is what prompted me to buy the same bike, saw and fell in love with it at a crooked dealer by my home. Called my dealer where I make all of my big purchases to see if that same color bike is coming. 3 weeks later, I bought it and brought it home. Love everything my bike had to offer.
In reality of Life, Nothing's fair and you'll have to move on. I'm sure 2015 Ultra will be alot better than mine, LOL.

I thought the write up was real good.if you had the two too ride back to back do you think there would be that much diff.i know there where alot of changes but it still is a harley.
I thought it was an interesting article. I know the difference between my '92 FLHS and my '07 Ultra was huge in favor of the Ultra. What I didn't get was what was wrong with the 2003. It apparently had some real problems in its life since it's 5+ years old and only has 15,000 miles on the odometer. It isn't even broken in yet.
The new baggers are looking more and more like metric fat azzes. When HD adds water cooling the transformation will be complete. YIPPPEEEE.............
I bought my 03 after riding an 09 and 08. It had very low miles and is a blast to ride. Sure the 09 is a better bike. It ought to be. It is a fresh new design. I did not read the article but I have now gotten my bike up to over 10,000 miles and look forward to the next 50,000. The 03 paint and the fact it is the 100th anniversary model make it my favorite, even now. I'll keep it when I buy my new 2013 model. :-)
