Have seen some questions on previous threads regarding impressions of the crushers. I installed a set of the crushers along with the Kuryakyn headers, Kuryakyn High Five Breather, and the V&H fuelpak on an 08 Ultra. I have about 1000 miles since it was all installed at Biketoberfest by Kuryakyn. They offered this set-up as a package install. To date, my impressions are mixed. The sound is a deep rumble with a definite bark when you roll on the throttle...still able to hear the stock speakers at highway speeds. Performance was marginally increased, but not to the level as the salesman/techs indicated. I am still trying to find a dyno tech in SC, Georgia, or N. Florida that is familiar with tweaking the fuelpak in order to squeeze out some more torque/hp.
The downside...I am not happy with the the amount of decel popping. The install by Kuryakyn was tight so no air leaks at the head pipes or around the mufflers. I have found that the recommended settings on the fuelpak provide quite a decel when the throttle is released as the fuelpak cuts off all the fuel to the engine. V&H stated that this decel sensation is normal and what should be expected in order to control the decel popping. The only option they offered was to adjust mode 23 from 15-50 (factory setting 16) in increments of 5. The higher the setting, the less the decel sensation but the more decel popping will occur. Not much of a fix...something worth knowing before you consider purchasing.
Overall...sound is very good, fit/finish excellent, performance increase is minimal over stock. Have had some friends tell me to get rid of the fuelpak for a PCIII and others have suggested to replace the pipes with the Monster Oval. Any thoughts?
Sorry no pics...trying to get some help with the technology to make it happen.
I agree, think you need to get a PC111 and sell the FuelPak. Call Jamie at FuelMoto, I am sure he has a good dynoed map for your set up plus the PC has more flexability. This would be cheaper than trying to get the FuelPak dynoed.
