Finally pulled the trigger and ordered the PC V from Fuel Moto after speaking with Jamie and Keith. Initial impression...vast improvement in performance as compared to what I experienced with the V&H Fuelpak. I have put about 3000 miles on the bike (08 Ultra) since the Fuelpak was installed along with the Kuryakyn High 5 breather, Kury headers (true duals) and Kury crushers by the Kuryakyn techs during the 08 Octoberfest. The FP was set to the recommended settings as listed on the V&H website. I even experimented with changing various settings in some of the different modes as directed by the V&H tech support folks on numerous occasions. Finally got to the point where they had no further suggestions to help with a significant decel sensation once the throttle was released, decel popping, and accel backfiring when shifting through second and third gears. Although I wasn't happy with the FP, I will say the V&H Tech Support folks were professional and did all they could do.
Jamie felt that the PC V would provide some significant improvements over the FP and he was absolutely correct. The installation took about one hour...for those of you that are mechanically inclined, I am guessing it will take you about 20 minutes. Even though it was pouring outside, I had to take a short spin (@30 miles) and see how she rode. Significant improvement in ride quality and performance from my perspective. Overall very happy...would recommend Fuel Moto and the PC V to anyone.
Once I tweak the system a little with Jamie's help, I will be back with a more detailed review.
I just ordered the kuryakyn hi-5 and was wondering how it stacked against the screamin eagle breather..or even the arlen ness big sucker..
Just wondering what map is used as it isn't stated in any of jamies.(fuelmoto) maps
Please keep me posted as I am also looking at the pcv.
Thanks

Don't know in terms of technical data regarding your question on the High 5, but when contemplating the PC V, I asked Jamie and Keith whether they suggested replacing any other components on the bike. They both indicated that the breather, headers, and mufflers would not be an issue in terms of their tuning or the performance that I could expect. Got the High 5 because I liked the look over the football and knew several folks that purchased them also...all have been happy with the performance.
one other question I have about the hi-5.
pretty simple to install?..just an r and r..
remove and replace?. or a bit more to it
received my pcv but not the hi-5 yet
was wonderin
thanks
