Unclekunkle, are those bag gaurds the ones for RKs they show in the cat. I wanted to add some gaurds but I think the graphics make the regular ones look funny
Anyone with an '09 in orange? If so, how about posting some pics? I plan on buying an '09 -- haven't yet decided whether it will be the Road Glide or a RKC. Saw a RG at the dealership today in Vivid Black (very sweet), but I'm also interested in the orange.
After riding for 20 years and cutting my teeth on a half dozen Sporties, Softails, etc. I finally took the plunge for a 2002 RG (my 1st Geezer bike) and LOVED it. Rode from Chicago to El Paso like nothing in 2 1/2 days. Made the mistake of selling it (in EP where bikes get top dollar) to get the 2007 Street Glide. Not that there is anything particularly WRONG with the Street Glide - they look cool and ride nice, but it just wasn't as good as my Road Glide on any given day.
Finally managed to sell it without losing my a$$ and bought a new 09 Road Glide. After 150 miles I LOVE IT! (I know that's not alot but I am in NE Washington these days and the weather SUCKS right now). I did get the fairing lowers and they were worth every penny.
I will post pictures of 'my Precious' soon as I can borrow a cam!
Stay alert - stay alive!

Here is my new one! I love it. Coming off of a 07 Street Glide. That was a great bike but this one is so much better IMO. Added Ultra tour pak, CB and intercom, Stage II 103" with 255 cams, SERT, and Rush Slip Ons.
I got mine about 4 months ago, and love it. Its really a blast now that the blower is on. Ordered some RC 21"& 18" wheels, chrome forks & cowbells, rotors and lowering kit last week. Gonna make her purty for when spring rolls back around.
