I went through similar experience. I had to try several maps close to my set up to find one that had good performance without destroying gas milage and it was not the map specified for my bike and setup. Don't forget to check your plugs-very important.
Good luck! Take it easy don't and try to race anybody untill you have the correct map, listen for pops and backfires and CHECK THE PLUGS! You don't want an overly lean condition to ruin your bike.
Ultra's don't have carb's, they are all fuel injected. The best way to beat that bike it get your bike dyno-tuned. The maps that are available don't take into account the particular's of your motor in a dynamic state. It's worth more than all the parts that you can throw at it.
