Saturday Night...
That 2x6 looks all to familiar under your bike..
Id doubt it will go into recall, but they (moco) seem pretty willing to change the part out under warranty

Did anyone get manufacturing dates of the models affected before they put the new mount on?

the new bikes on the floor here locally definitely stand up straighter than mine does. they were not aware of the new part number. the service department computer manual shows the -81B bracket. the parts department has newly released (from November printing) hard copy with the -09 part listed. they could not tell me what was on my bike that i bought 16 Aug. cheaper to buy it and if not needed to return than to take my bike in for replacement and come back another day to pick it up even if covered under warranty.

Thanks for posting. I'm going to check into it with my dealer. My 2009 leans way over even being a Street Glide. Makes it sink into soft surfaces a lot more with the extra weight on it and it is harder to pick up off the kick stand when loaded with luggage.

My 09 UC is harder to pick up then my 06 was.(really harder, especially on a slope). I bought a center stand and air ride system. I can have it on the jiffy stand then lower the air ride and bike stands right up. I can raise the air ride all the way up and drop the center stand then drop the bike on the center stand with the down button on my Arnott air ride system. Bike lands on the center stand and sits like it is set in stone.
Can you tell that I am real lazy. my solution is pricey but works for me. Center stand $231 and Arnott system $800. I installed both myself.

I have a 2005 EG Classic and it fell over once when I was washing it and I was standing three feet away. It tried to fall over when I was sitting on it putting down the kickstand, but I caught it. Mine leans over pretty far, and it gives me that heart stopping feeling when it locks. I thought my kickstand or kickstand mount were faulty, but the dealer said no. This was within a month of purchasing it in 2005. I spent my own dollars and bought a new kickstand and mount with no difference. (The originals are now in my takeoff box)
I still haven't gotten used to it. I think it leans over way to far. Plus it moves a little forward when it locks. It has never felt right and still doesn't. Twice, people (that I didn't know) have told me when I got off of the bike that I didn't get the kickstand down and my bike was going to fall over.

Arnott system rides great. No wobble or sway at all. Feels like stock when 80 to 100 lbs of pressure are in the system. You can also put 20-60 lbs for a softer ride. Love this system. Does not leak like my stock air shocks. Put the guage on it tonight. Ordered 2 days ago and received it today. Same as the air ride system. Got it in 3 days. Great customer service also. I love that I drop it on the center stand. Safer then getting off and standing on the left side to lift it on a center stand. I stay on the bike and just drop it on the center stand. Wheeldock center stand on sale to HD Forums members for $231 until 12-15-08. There is a thread going now about it.
