I've never seen any actual kickstand extension kits, only kits that extend the top tab and make it easier to put it down with your foot. ???????

I just tried to order this from Zanotti's via web order and apparently this is no longer a valid number. I dint know if I have the wrong one on my bike or not but I do know it leans way way over and in the gravel or soft summer surfaces, I can picture the bike wanting to go over after sinking a bit. I was going to order one just to be sure I have the one with the least lean angle.

Does anyone have one of the new ones?? Anyway to compare?

I called HD customer service and of course they knew nothing about this. They did their research and sent me an email with the results. I was told there are no service bulletins on the jiffy stand ... the lean is normal. The Lead Technical Service Rep said it is up to your dealer to determine if you need another bracket or not.

I'll bet you could drop a long bolt with a fender washer on top to take up some of the clearance and stop the kickstand from coming way up. That might be worth a try.

I just called HD Customer Service on this and spoke with Susie. She said that they have had numerous calls on the lean angle and your dealer will replace the jiffy bracket (part #: 50096-09, which she gave me) under warranty. She also gave me a reference number in case my dealer wanted to check with her. She stated it is not a warranty issue (beats me) however they will replace them if you want.
