My suggestion is go to bitchinbaggers.com. Look at their shock cut down page....mine was cut down 1 & 1/2" ....Just my opinion.

Get a set of Progressive short air shocks they are more adjustable that Harley shocks and they ride better also!

I have a Strret Glide with 21/18 conbo and had bitchen baggers lower them 1 inch and have had no problems , you just need to run 20 -25 lbs of air . The biker looks great.

I used a pair of Street Glide shocks on my '07 Road King and really liked the look. The reduced suspension travel was only a problem when I rode two-up with overnight gear, but I just pumped them up a bit to maintain ride height. There was a definite reduction in comfort this way, but I didn't ride two-up that often. It was a worthwhile swap. I was running the stock 16 inch wheels, so can't comment on clearance.

Used the harley lowering shocks on both my bikes, the bikes set lower and I can't tell any difference in the ride. I really like the way they look setting lower and my feet have more contact with the ground when I am at a stop.
