04 Road Glide ,at times I have trouble listening to the radio or CD due to wind noise etc. I'm looking at new ear plugs with speakers in . I was thinking of cutting into the speaker wires and putting a jack plug in the inner fairing somewhere. anyone done this or know if it works ?
I don't think you have to cut in anywhere.
Harley makes a headphone for inside a helmet that looks like it has a standard min plug on the end.
If so you should be able to plug on where ever they do.
Also I thought I saw on the forum a while back where someone modified the radio to have such an output.
Thanks Sodiee that looks like what I'm after. I don't want speakers in my helmet and I wear 3 different helmets so I would need 3 speaker sets. I had to take the speaker out of my helmet for my GPS , just find it uncomfortable. I really need ear plugs for wind noise etc. as I have industrial deafness, by using ear plugs with speakers it solves the problem.
