In '07 HD changed wiring connectors from Deutsch connectors that are relatively easy to disassemble and reassemble to Molex connectors. No info in service manual about Molex connectors.
Seems odd to me that HD used Molexes on the '07s but didn't mention them in the service manual. Molexes are discussed in the manual for my '08 UC in Appendix A-10.
Might be a case that it took HD a year to catch up with the Deutch connector Molex change....or I just don't recognize the connector in the '07 Service Manual. Anyone spot the Molex info in a '07 Service Manual??? My wife tells me the best place to hide something from me is right in front of me.
Regardless of whether it is there or not there isn't any info in the Service Manual that rivals Dr. Plastic's post with actual pictures on this thread.
I checked out the '08 Service manual today at my dealer. Racklefratz is right. There is a section in the '08 Service manual that shows how to remove and reinstall Molex connectors. So, if you own an '07 and need to remove and/or reinstall molex connectors get an '08 service manual, take a a look at your dealer's or even better take a look a look at Dr Plastic post under this thread.

I dont have the book in front of me now, but it was there when I did my bars.
The correct way to remove pins from a molex connector is with a pin removal tool. They can be bought at radio shack or any supply place for electronics. Harley sells a tool but like all HD stuff it is expensive.
on my 09 Ultra I am putting 575 Wild 1 bars on it,on the right side I extended all the wires,my problem is I cant find my diagram for the color coded wires for the 12 wire Molex connector, which wires go in which hole putting the end back on,Please someone send me a picture...BTW ,I looked at the ken and Judy website and didnt help,Please help ,,,jposey101@aol.com
in process of changing my bars. having a problem with the molex connectors. taking apart was easy, but cant seem to get the plastic "secondary lock" to push back down into place. anyone else had this problem? what's the fix?

Did you get the issue resolved? I havent done it in a few years but what comes to mind is perhaps where the wires come out the back may be knotted up or too much wire inside the connection from being wound too tight where its fed through the weather seal, maybe slightly pulling the wire back out towards the harness and see if it will lock.
I may wire mine up tomorrow and see if there are any issues.
