I put Heritage bars on my 2006 Road King Classic. When I test drove the bike the bars that were on it had my elbows on my chest and my wrist turned in so much that my hands went numb within 10 miles. Talked to the salesman and the service guy and that's what they suggested. Sat on a heritage and checked out the bars on it. It was the perfect combination of height and wrist angle for me. People ask me all the time if I have mini apes on it.
Thanks everyone. I never thought of RK Custom bars.
Beach bars would give that low and wide, yet hand in my lap seating, unless they make some without all that pull back.
Mslater,
That Yahoo link took me to sign up for an email address...were there pics or something you were trying to post?
I have yet to find one set and change out but the standard bars are too low for me. I'm 6'2" with a 36" inseam and when I make tight turns the bars hit my knees.
I know some guys with RG's went with Heritage bars, and some went with Wide Glide bars.... Go to your dealer... and sit on what's in stock.... see if there's any stock bars that suits you... or are at least close to your goal... maybe then Wild 1 could help you better

I haven't yet, but thanks for the link. The regular Ergo's look like they may work, but they all look like they block the fairing mirrors...I'll tell you , if it isn't one thing it's the other
Thanks again StreetGeezer

No probs BigFokker. I ultimately went with WO577s but am now changing over to WO575s because my right hand starts tingling and goes to sleep while riding with the 577s.
I see you and I have about the same post count. We'll be prospects forever at this rate.
I run Carlini Cleansweeps on my roadking and i run Yaffe on my roadglide at 10" talll...to me the perfect height. my arms are straight out and super comfortable
