shake and shudder
2008 FLHR has been under a bike cover for a coupe of months due to bad weather. Has a break in the ice and cold yesterday so took it for a ride and WOW a LOT of bike shaking and shuddering during decleration. I dont think its tire pressure cause it felt like the entire bike was vibrating (engine and tranny). Any thoughts cause it scared the **** outta me.

Did you do anything to the fuel, like add stabilizer? Did you you check the air filter for residue? I know that after a few months gas can break down and cause problems and I know that mice like paper air filters......

followup
I let it run for about 5 minutes before taking it out. No probs with acceleration just on the decel side. What I did was disengage the clutch and it seems to lessen the shaking. I was thinking something i the tranny butt I no mechanical guru.
