Default Cee Bailey Road Glide windshields

Does anyone have this shied? If so, is it better than the Klock-Works.

I will probably try a sport shield this summer but for winter riding it would be hard to top my clearview xl shield. It sets the standards pretty high for me.

I tried the 12" flair and the 3" taller shield would have made a huge difference with that one and these look a lot like the flair

Good question. I think it would be hard for them to be any worse.

Neither of them will help a great deal. Most of the wind you hear the Roadgliders talking about comes over the top of your crash bars and up into your face. They are nice shields but the only thing that stops that pesky wind in the face is a set of Harley lowers or some homemade wind blocks attached to the top of the crash bars. A friend of mine proved this point to the owner of my local dealership this past summer. The owner had bought a Klockwerks windshield and was disappointed in the performance. It looks like it would do the trick and you can't understand why it does not work until you realize where the air is coming from. Try this. Kick your bike up to about 70 or 75 mph and put your feet up on the top of the crash bars and see how much wind your feet block from your face.

nope, pretty sure what was makin my nose wiggle at 50 mph was that POS KlocksWerks shield. Don't have that with my stock shield but hate looking through it.

Another quick point while I'm on this subject. When I bought my Roady from it's first owner he did not have the lowers on it but had the HD short shield on it (about 2 inches lower than a stock roadglide). When I test rode it I could not believe the wind. I almost didn't buy the bike. I went home and ordered the tallest windshield HD made and put it on. It looked crazy tall and didn't really help with the wind in my face. I noticed by holding my hand in front of my head that a lot of the wind was deflected by the windshield but I continued getting the wind in the face. A couple of days later I put the stock lowers on and BINGO. The wind in my face was gone. I now ride with the short black wind deflector and get less wind than I got with the standard windshield without the lowers.

Those are great looking windshields for Road Glides. If they work anywhere close to as good as the SSC's for the FLHT's they will be a big hit. The FLHT design isn't quite like this one, but does resemble the one made by KW for that bike, or actually the KW resembles the Cee Bailey. I'd be interested in a Cee Baileys SSC that looked more like the KW ones, cause while they work great, they aren't as good looking.
