There seem to be a much larger blind spot in the mirrors on this bike than any other I have ever had. Anybody else notice that? The mirrors are small and not much room to add a small round concave mirrow like I have done on other bike. Has anyone replaced the original mirrors? Any suggestion?
You're on a motorcycle...there are no blind spots. Blind spots are areas you can't see because the structure of the vehicle prevents you seeing behind it. Simply move your head from side to side and you'll see everything out there.
I think this thread might be even dumber than the how do you fill your rear tire thread.

the mirrors are only there to reenfroce what your eyes just saw. turn your head and look. heck most custom bakes only have enough mirror to make the man go away. NEVER rely soley on your mirrors, or you will most certainly be sorry. sooner or later.

I think kuryakyn makes a bigger nice looking mirrors that fit the SG.
I've been looking for the right mirrors also because I ride 30 miles one way to work in heavy 70 mph traffic and there certainly is a blind spot with my full face helmet.
