Guys,
I am turning my 05 classic into a street glide rear end. So far it is going good I just have one question. I want to wire the 08 tri bar light to run as a run/brake light which I believe it it supposed to do because it is a 08. (even though it only has two wire to the connection, I think it needs three for the run brake set up??) I was wondering the best way to wire this in. I can use my tourpac plug but then it is just on all of the time. I was wondering if I could splice it in to the taillight wiring but I noticed the tailight has 3 wires not two? Any ideas??
Thanks!!
HD sells an upgraded light module that will do what you want to do. It is a direct plug in and has the three wire set up and additional LEDs for the stop light function.
