Anybody had a problem with oil leaking out of stock touring shocks? Shocks are not mounted on bike. How do I drain oil and replace with correct amount?
There was a long thread on just this subject a few weeks ago. If you do a search hopefully you'll find it. I didn't save it myself. It has some solutions for adding oil to the shocks and mentions the original amount.
Yup, mine leaked too when they were off, pain really. But it's fixable. My problem was I decided as long as they were off... change em. So I did and I am glad what a difference. Ride safe.
