I have mine mounted on the ram mount now and wanted to use this mount to get it off the bars. But if I have to remove my windshield bag I guess I'll leave it be. Does anyone know if Harley's trip planner can be used with a Zumo or just with their version?
I don't know anything about the XM puck. Is there where the XM receiver resides? I move a roady xt from my car to my truck to the house and only have one contract. If the receiver is in the Zumo I don't see why you would need another contract.
You won't need an additional contract however you will pay an additional amount for another receiver. The good part is once you have a contract each additional receiver is $5 I think.
Well since there have been several variations of GPS mountings shown here, I guess I will add mine....not to hijack a thread or start a new one. I have had it mounted here for quite some time and really like it. It is right in view when riding.
Well I got my zumo fairing mount installed. It looks really good. I am very happy with it. The only thing I would tell people is if you have one of those aero dynamic windows that sweep back towards the rider then you may have to make a choice. My windshild hits the zumo mount so I put my old 4 inch windshild back on for now and have ordered one of those 6 1/2 inch with the lip windshilds and am just waiting for it to get here. So if you really like your sweeping windshild this is not the mount for you. I will get some pics of it with the Zumo on it in a couple of days and post them.

Oh yes it can! That's the better way to go use Harley's Ride Planner.
