Default cold weather storage

I've parked my '08 Road King in a friends garage here in Maine, which gets cold as hell. I'm wondering what precautions I should take? It's inside, but unheated. I was told to fill the gas tank to lessen condensation, what else should I do? Thanks

For sure get you a battery tender. You won't be sorry.

I would suggest a battery charger/monitor, if possible.

I have the "Battery Doc" and it keeps the battery up to snuff 24/7.

No, leave it in and get the tender. My local HD dealer had them for $19.

I'd pull the spark plugs, squirt some oil in, hit the starter to coat, then put the plugs back in.

put a piece of plastic on the floor under it to stop moisture bleed thru, & don't cover it with plastic... use somethat that breathes.. or you'll trap moisture under the cover

I just rode last week with some of the guys from Maine.. on the Wreaths Escort
