Default 2 Wheel Tunes for Road King

Has anyone used them and if so how do they work and sound. I'm thinking or attaching the speakers to my Detachable windshield with a couple of connectors to unplug as I take off the windshield. I have heard good and bad about them and looking for some input.

I have the 2" with the louder grills. Still wasn't loud enough. Blew the amp after 1 week. Company did not back their product. I had to buy a new amp just to sell it. Not with the $$$.

I just installed 3" Rumble Road w/ built in amps. Wating for snow and salt to clear off the road before I give them the highway test. Hopefully by this weekend. I'll post review.

Someone told me about a compact unit that will play an Ipod through it that comes with a pair of chrome bullet shaped speakers that are compact to fit on the handlebars. Anyone heard of this? Who makes it? Any reviews/comments on how it performs?

I think you're referring to the 2-Wheel Tunes (AKA Cycle Sounds). Look nice but don't work well.

Kuryaken makes a plug and play for your bike that mounts to the handle bars. I heard it and it's not bad for 3 inch speakers.

Just me maybe but the only sound I want to hear going down the road is the sound of my bike.

sound of chrome $400.....Here is what they have on thier website

The Sound of Chrome™

This system ROCKS! With perfectly designed 3" main speakers and additional tweeters for full bodied sound there is no compromise here. The weatherproof bullet housing has a built-in powerful 50 watt amplifier and includes a volume and on/off control switch. 1" mounting clamp with swivel djustment gives you the freedom to position speakers in any direction you choose. With a full plug and play wiring harness, noise purifier and standard 3.5mm jack, simply connect your iPod, MP3 Player, satellite radio, personal CD player, etc. and ride on.

I hooked up the Rumble Road system on a buddy's Rocket 3.I didn't think the sound was that great or very loud but he is very happy with it.I hid the speakers behind a Corbin fairing.Looks good.
I forgot you can find the system on E-bay for $230 with free shipping
