plastic does have a tendency to crack so stay with fiberglass. the hoppe fit and finish cant be beat. looked at many brands b4 doing the math on fairing and lowers and paint on both then traded in for a ultra.
I have the Tsukayu. I ordered it stereo ready with no system. I added my own with the component speakers. The big ones fit in the holes and the smaller ones are basically surface mount. I went with Blaupunkt because the grills were plain black, and it had internal crossovers so the wiring was just daisy chained. One set from stereo to 6" and from 6" to tweeters. I also needed a two tone so mine came gray primered. I never take it off unless something beneath it needs attention.
One thing I learned here, When buying a stereo for your motorcycle take your riding gloves with you. Find one you can adjust or change stations with gloves on. It makes fiddling with the radio or CD easier when riding.

+1 on theTsukayu. Hagar and I have the first generation style Tsukayu's they now have 4 styles, 3 with radios 1 without. I have the Tsukayu installed stereo, sounds good. Now the advice time. unless your bike is painted something special or needs to be 2 tone go ahead and have them paint it. I ended up with probably $250+ in paint and supplies and the spraying was free( 1 quart of paint + hardener was $180 dollars + all the other supplies). Plan on doing something other than the antenna that comes with it I have a hidden antenna from pep boys some better, not much. I am probably going to get a stock harley style one later. their non rigid stereo mounting does not work well but is a easy fix if you decide to use their stereo.
Also once you ride with 1 you wont take it off

Firebagger for me also. I ordered mine painted and with a stereo. I sent the stereo back for a refund because they said it was ipod compatible and it was not. Very nice unit. Only time I take it off is, wait I never take it off.
