Default Detachable Fairings

I`m goin nuts! I decided on goin with a Hoppe industries detachable fairing, but have only seen pictures of them. They have a "quadzilla" model and a chopped version, "sportszilla" model, Any suggestion? Thanks in advance!

Sounds like your decision is made. I went with the Dead Center. Great, and I mean GREAT customer service, LOCKS, which the Quadzilla doesn't, and all the stock H D hardware like windshields, wings, etc fit the Dead Center. Bought used, but barely used, and I love it. The internet has some deals if you spend the time surfing the sites. Good Luck, I'm sure the Quadzilla is a very fine unit, I just really like the Locking aspect. In fact you can get 20% off new from Rice HD. I've got the details somewhere if you're interested, PM me.

Hoppe is only a few miles from my house. I went over just before the 105th to look at their fairing vents. The was a guy and his girl friend from Canada their installing a "Quadzilla" Fairing on one of their Honda Valk... It had a Sony radio with 4 speakers. The more I looked at it the more I thought that it might be a nice addition to the wifes RK.

Hit up Wayne FIRECAP on here he is a dist. for custom fairings. I've just ordered mine through him and cant wait to throw it on. He uses ARC audio speakers and high quality head units. Far superior product over dragon fly and hoppe. Just my 2€

If you're getting a fairing for protection, get the Quadzilla.

If you're getting a fairing for looks, get the Sportzilla.

I've been looking at det. fairings for my '03 RKC; I can't imagine buying one that doesn't lock.
Do the fairings from FIRECAP lock?

Forget it? Just because you like your Dead Center, that dosen't make them the best. Sorry. Many folks have Hoppe, Dragonfly, Tsukayu etc and are also well satisfied.

I looked at them all, didn't particularly like back side of DCC, didn't like the 4 small speakers of Hoppe, didn't like 6x9's of Dragonfly and stumbled on to Firebagger (now Tsukayu) and like it alot, had it made empty, put my own paint and radio on it.
Now that may not be for everyone, some don't like the fact it is a HK item, ok.
You'll spend $1,000 to $3,000 on this item before your done. Do some research and get whats best for you. good luck & enjoy whichever one you buy.
