Nothing wrong with a clean, nicely detailed bike. I clean my bike on rainy days when I can't ride.

 

I like a really clean bike but have been known to ride a dirty one. I'll keep it as clean as I want to and let everyone else do the same to theirs.

I have been known to spend 4 - 5 hours about 6 times a year detailing, just a wash and dry another 3 - 4 times a year. Man, you make me look like a pig. But I do understand the wanting it to shine bright!

 

Ugh. With the heater I bought for the garage and it being 19^ tonight, and since I've winterized the house spickets and garden hoses my mind's on loading up one of my garden 1g sprayers with water and doing it that way. Wash and dry (micro-fiber shami sort of thing), HD Gloss. O's says don't wax it yet, too soon. My B-Day's Feb 3. That's 3mo for the paint, and my B-Day present.

That ain't sic, is it?
