Get this: my selling dealer quoted $1300 labor to install the 103" Stage II. The next closest dealer quoted $1550 labor. The independent I ended up bringing it to is doing it for $680 labor. Still a bit of dough but much more reasonable. I'll take it to the dealer for the download. I thought hard about doing it myself and figured if I was to screw something up I'd end up pissing myself off so I just bit the bullet.
I noticed someone suggested adjustable pushrods. The independent suggested the same so I said OK. What's the rationale behind using them for this job? Seems to me that if the base circles between the OE cam and the 255 are the same then the stock pushrods should be fine. They don't come in the kit so I figured they shouldn't be necessary. Just curious.
