Default Cams or Cams plus 103 kit

I've a 10 SG and am thinking of either putting cams in the 96 (SE255) or both the cams and the 103 motor kit. I like to ride fast and hard up to 100MPH or so. Thanks for any advice...

If you like to ride hard & fast I wouldn't go with the 255s, go with a good 107 kit, there's a lot of good 107s from various shops, Fuelmoto for one.

As previously stated,I wouldn't go with the SE255 if your looking for speed or hp.The 255 is a tq cam.The 103 is a good kit.You should go as big as you can go(pockets will allow) & use a midrange cam!!!

Doesnt sound like the 255's are a good cam at all for you. Get something with more duration and closes the intake later.

I'm running 211's. If your running hard and fast up to 100's you might want to give them a look

Definately look at Fuel Moto's 107 kits great bang for the buck and closer to what you rlooking for. The 103 and the 255's is a great combo for moving around with some authority but lacks the horsepower your looking for but a great pulling power pant.

You might be better off getting a 3K crotch rocket as a second bike for those days when you feel the need for speed.

party pooper...

90 mph is just under 3.5 Thousand rpm... I like my black go-fast machine.

3.5 RPM at 90 MPH is some pretty steep gearing...
