I put one on my 08EGC, I put it on the same time as an oil cooler so I don't what one is better. Is it worth the high price, I don't know, but than what is? I did not like the horn relocation an did not use it. I put a springer horn above the oil cooler on the cross brace.
After installing it, about a month later I did not like it on the thermostat so I wired it to the accessory switch. The unit itself seems to be of good quality.
added the HD fan to my Ultra last year, along with an oil cooler, and synth oil.
Have done several of the summertime "stop and go" rides with no problems. Oil cooler drops the temp when I'm underway, and the Fan kicks on when I'm in traffic - combination has kept the engine from going into skip fire mode even in 98 degree ambient air.

Added rivco horns to mine on the lower crash bar.. stuck the compressor in the lower fairing, added the steel locking doors.
Installed one for my dad on his ultra he loves it in stop and go traffic we also did what Kenny did when we installed it and put it on a switch so dad turns it on when he needs it or wants it. We thought the thermostate was set to high and it needed to turn on sooner. Works good looks good hes happy.
