What options do we have in regards to changing out our dash panels on the 2009 Ultra Classic? I will never use the intercom and am not crazy about the stock panel. Anybody have any insight about what options we have without making perm modifications or cutting the wiring underneath the current panel?
You just peel off the dash panel that is on your bike (its held on with two sided tape) and peel off the backing sheet and position in the same location as the stock one. The one I got is formed out out of .040 Aluminum sheet. It allows ample space underneath.

So, if I understand you correctly, I'd have to remove my connector to the intercom and remove and replace my console insert?
