With the motor turning over and plenty of oil, I think you can relax.
Check and make sure you are getting a spark. If not, and I assume everything else electrical is working since the starter is turning over the engine, check the spark plug cables and ignition coil wiring for signs of melting or shorting. If you don't have a multi-tester, you can check for spark by pulling a plug and, with the cable attached, lay the plug on the motor fins and crank over the engine. If it is not too brightly lit in your garage/shop, you will be able to see the spark at the plug electrode.
Was letting it run, my son hurt himself so I had to take care of him. The motor will turn over, has plenty of oil, sound like there is no fire though. Pulled the plugs, they look like they could be replaced. Was wondering if there was anything else I needed to check, test or do?
Make sure it has plenty of gas & be sure the kill switch is in the "run" position.
Pulled the plugs, no fire on them. Going to get new plugs today, Puttin ghte battery on a charger until then. Will check if new plugs have fire on them.
Put new plugs in the bike this afternoon, not visible spark. Could I have melted something? All the cable covers that are on top of the motor feel and look normal. What di I need to check next, any help will be greatly appreciated.
