When I installed mine I was told that to reset the system you have to remove power from the unit (not just shut it off). Try pulling the fuse and wait a minute and try again.
Having the same issues with mine just got a new unit from Biketronics it didnt work so im going to change the radio out see if it fixs the problem ...had a kenwood going back with a sony marine unit
