YIKES! Buckwheat you poor soul! That's a positively dreadful/nightmarish sight to a HarleyMan without a doubt!
I cannot imagine having to store my bike for the winter - months on end of a nearly meaningless existence waiting and waiting for that glorious day when you can roll your machine out of the garage and fire it up again. I feel for you all. I did grow up in Chicago and lived there til I was 20 so I know what misery it is. I could never do it again that's for sure. I'd be in a straight jacket if I had to do that - my bike is my therapy and my absolute passion, not just transportation.
I will be dedicating my rides for the next few months to you Buckwheat after seeing that picture!
The remedy for you is: Stay away!
I notice your not too proud to put up where your from.
You havnt seen Texas if your whinning about straight roads. You may have driven through a stright road and we are all sorry for you
Really.
Ditto, he talks big trash but doesn't say where he's from. I live in New Mexico because of my job, but I'm now and forever a TEXAN!
Oh Just Bite Me!
Just kidding, winter in Maine is just one reason I am moving to N.C.
I lived in Texas when I was in the Army [1975}stationed at Ft. Hood but lived in Austin.
It was a long commute but well worth it. I was 19 the drinking age was 18 and Austin was fan f#@kin tastic.
Enjoy the ride you lucky sob
Mid 60's here today. I got to get out and ride for a couple hours. I'm only a couple hours from the TX line, but it gets cold here too. You guys get more winter weather than we do. I'm ready for spring and some 70's or better and less rain. We are lucky here that its not winter every day.
