I think that Gilbos440rt means the newer detachable tourpac mounts for bikes up to and including 08's. I have a detach setup on my 99' that is different (it has tubes ) than the one they sell now for the same appliction.

On my bike, the part that stays with the tourpac when you remove the tourpac is made out of tubes not flat metal, like the one above.
