Posted this in the "Engine" section but I think it is applicable in this section because....well, Touring bikes have engines too! 
anyway, wanted to get this out looking for some answers, figure with all the traffic in this section someone will be able to help me. Here goes: Anyone have info on the crankshaft run out problems with 07 and later 96" engine? What I hear is the crankshafts are "press fitted" and, on some bikes (even with really low miles) the crank shaft run out gets out of spec, hits the oil pump and ruins the engine. Harley has been replacing the whole engine. Anyone have stats on this? Is there anything that can be done to prevent the crankshaft from moving? I have an 08 EGC and feel like it is a ticking time bomb. I don't run her hard but don't baby her either. Hate to have my engine implode.
