Road Glide Handlebar Swap
Has anyone done a swap on stock RG handlebars? I am 6"2", and when I lean back against the backrest and reach out for my hiway pegs, I find I am stretching for the grips on my stock bars. I would like to be able to change to something with alittle more rearward reach, but still be able to use the stock cables. Any thoughts?
I put the Heritage Style Handlebar on my 09 RD and it is very comfortable. I am only 5'10" and I am not leaning forward or reaching at all. No mods to any cables either. Part #56902-08.
Wideglide and Heritage bars are a pretty standard swapout for the roadglides. Both use stock cables. I went with the Heritage bars on mine, and am happy with them.
