My question is this. Has anyone purchased the Jackpot Dynatuned slip-ons with the 1.75 baffles and find that they're just too quiet? I'm debating on them or the Jackpot Classics that you have the option of 1.75 or 2" baffles. I realize the performance issues with each, but I'd like to hear some thunder out of them. Maybe Jaime or Keith can ring in on this thread. I'd love to see a chart that lists the decible levels of stock mufflers on the 09's, Jackpot dynatuned, Jacpot Classics/w 2" baffles, Reinhardts, Vance&Hines, etc. just to get an idea before I purchase them.

I would recommend the Jackpot Dyno tuned mufflers, they have a nice deep tone in the cruise range but make a good powerful sound in the upper RPM's. The sound has shown to be just right for 99.5% of the customers that have purchased them, and I will personally guarantee they will outperform any other slip on muffler. If you are looking for something a bit louder we do have a large bore baffle that we can install for no additional charge. As far as dB testing, this is something we looked into doing however we quickly found that the figures we found were all over the place including from Harley. So unless we could test everything at once, using the same procedure, on the same bike, etc.. it would be worthless so we chose to work closer with our customers to get them what they were looking for which has worked very, very well.
I put them on my SG back in September and here are my thoughts:
They look great
They sound great-real mellow at cruise and idle and sound deep and mean once you open it up, BUT they are not that Loud(although the stock air cleaner is still in place, so not sure once I get the PCV and Stage 1 AC from Jamie it will get any louder?)
For example my buddies have Vance and Hines Pro Pipes and their bikes are much louder than mine...
Jamie, if I opt for the large bore baffle instead of the 1.75, what performance loss am I looking at % wise? And you mean for the dynotuned slip-ons, right? Thanks again..

The Dyno tuned muffler actually uses a 51MM (about 2.00") baffle in the primary muffler. Our large bore baffle is 57MM (about 2.25") you will get a bit more sound at the expense of some low end Tq.
