i have seen a couple of post from people that have broken the pins on the ecm using the plug ins just not sure if it was there problem or the device also seen more than a couple post from people who received a defective device.

My dealer told me I threw some codes out of wack due to my PC on 08 Ultra. PC and my local builder said they were full of it, that it is not possible for a simple piggy back PC to do any harm.

I don't know if it can or cannot do any harm, but I have been told (and read) that the ECM records the addition of the piggyback and will be visible to MOCO which "could" have warranty implications.

I like how dealers always try to pull the "void your warranty" crap out of their ***. The SERT or now the SEST does basically the same thing as the PCIII and now the PC V...it changes the fuel mapping of the engine.

So let's say you use a SERT/SEST and the tune is bad and you fry part of your engine. The dealer will say you did not have it tuned by us...so void warranty.

And if the dealer did the tune and it was still crappy and you fried your engine they will come up with some other excuse to void your warranty...like you rode your bike incorrectly...LOL.
