Picture of bike with winding road background, lamenated on a glass plaque with my name, bike model, year, VIN, dealership name, "Feel The Freedom" banner, HD Logo. There was a congratulations and thank-you card from the owners and operations manager. Also a link to the original high-res image.
Nice touch I thought. Does ever HD dealer give this treatment?
(There is no such things as "gifts" from any dealer. They all build in the cost of such items and charge you a premium to receive them, unbeknownst to you. They present it in such a way that you are thankful to them though.)
Nope, back in 06 they gave a t-shirt that said..I Bought Mine At blablaabla...I laughed at him asked if I could get a hat insted,he said no.....I dont care how much OIL/Money you spend at a dealer they still sqeeeeeeekkkk........
I got a plaque when I bought my 08 Street Glide. It is very nice. I also got the standard T-shirts. You also received a battery tender as a gift from the Parts Dept. My wife and I get Christmas and Birthday cards as well.
...got framed thingie from dealer showing the individual bike sitting in the parking lot setting in front of the dealership's building. Congratulating the wife and I. Serial #'s and model too. Yeah, I know I PAID for it. It's the least they could do, believe me.
I got one when i bought my 06... pic of the bike with an american flag behind it... pretty cool..
Dave
Same one I got, but also had a pic of the shops store front above/behind the stock photo of the Street Glide (not a real pic of "my" bike). Also has my name and bikes VIN#.
