[QUOTE=Saturday Night Special;4313203]Sorry to burst your bubble but Honda has been offering a driver AIRBAG on the Gold Wing for a few years already now.....
Is it just me or does that look like a fat ladies a$$.
Maybe Honda's sense of humor?
to answer the question: never. its enough that there is a neutral safety switch on the bikes now (since 07). don't really need or want one on the jiffy stand to.
my .02
Neutral safety switch?? Is that to say the bike won't start in gear unless the clutch is pulled? That's news to me! I know it will start in gear with the clutch pulled.
I was so used to my VTX shutting off when I lowered the kickstand in gear, I relied on it as a kill switch. The first time I tried it on my Ultra, I almost drove into the work bench. That is a lesson that only needs to be learned once. If you need repetition, perhaps a new hobby is in order :-).

thats exactly right. if you are in gear and don't pull the clutch, hit the start button, and nothing happens. pull in the clutch and it'll start.
(disclaimer: i don't know about the other models, but at least on the touring models)
I can't disagree. I hear the Tundra is a superb truck. I think Ford did a nice job (styling) on the new F150s but I agree that GMs don't look as sharp. With the Toyota, you know you're getting a solid vehicle. (Good thing we're talking four wheels here instead of two huh?)
I love the new Tundra's, but I gotta' admit Ford did a kick-a$$ job on the new F-150. That is one sharp looking truck!

Good to know they changed in '07. I was at a bike nite with my '03 RKC and left the bike in gear because I was parked on a pretty good incline (and I didn't yet trust the Harley jiffy stand). At any rate I'm getting ready to leave, all cool, hit the starter button and the bike lurched forward a couple of inches as the engine turned over. I'm just glad she didn't start! Trust me, I never did that again!
