I am in the habit of raising the stand as soon as I am on the bike. It is now part of the process to get going.

I've never had a problem raising the stand at takeoff. Mine has been deploying it when parking...

How in the world is an airbag going to help you as you fly off the bike???? Do you know wear a seatbelt to keep you on? Some company is making an airbag jacket, which frankly seems to make more sense than one on a bike... I can see it now... a Cage pulls out in front of me and I hit the brake air bag releases and because of the increased stuff in front of me I fly over the Cage.... but I still end up on my head... or better yet... it pushes me back into the traffic behind me which them runs me over... I am amazed that Honda's legal department let this thing out.

Yea, guess people aren't paying attention to much these days. I see the cagers driving down the road with their gas cap doors open all the time. At least they didn't pull the hose off the pumps though.

I so like to zoom by and snack them shut, then give them the thumbs up as I zip by

Did that leaving a bar one night at the Myrtle rally on my '03 Fatboy. Wakes you up pretty quick! Not a fan of dumb-***-proofing features on bike, but good to know it's there if that's the case (as I've proven myself a dumb-***)!
