To those of you who are disabled, is there any kind of a tax deduction or credit available for assistive devices? I would think this would qualify as an assistive device? To me, this would seem to be the same as needing hand controls to drive a car etc.
Thanks for the info.
Also, I know some of the comments on this post were meant to be innocent jokes. However, it isn't funny when it comes to disabilities. Think about two things. The first one being the saying "there I go but for the Grace of God". And the other one being that a lot of disabilities these days are the result of brave men volunteering to put themselves in harms way so that all of our wives, mothers, and daughters are safe from madmen.
Probably unavoidable given the dollar's dive against the yen. Fwiw, I've had one getting close to four years and still working great. Can even reverse up a hill.

When the price went up I had asked about that and they said that's why, however the yen went up 9% and the price of the unit went up 20% . . .
Maybe they can stuff it down in a prothstetic leg they lost protecting your dumb a$$ just so you could be snippy on the internet. And after they got their bike backed out, the extra mass in that leg would be better to bash the back of your head in...........just sayin.
Thanks, i agree 100%.. the two metal pins in my spine and no feeling in my right foot due to a little oops driving a 60 ton tank make backing up my EG pretty tough.. i can only imagine how some of my more severely injured brothers in arms manage to ride a big bike..

What do i miss the most after selling my GoldWing - Reverse - I have trained myself to look for those uphill parking spots - It hasn't been a big issue - I just got back from a ride with my old riding buddy who rides a new Wing - he went out of his way to find parking where he could show the world his reverse gear - Few years ago I han a Russian Ural with side car - that thing wasn't a electric reverse - - I gues it would do 70 MPH in reverse if you could hang on -
