Anyone install the Dark Grey tint with a height of 8" or above? Wondering if the tint is too dark for dusk or night rides. Is the Light Smoked the way to go? Thanks for any replies.
I have the 9 1/2" dark grey tint and love it.
If you are looking over it no problem. If you have to look
thru it don't get it.
The only time I look thru it is when I have to go up
a rather steep hill. Your call and good luck on your decision.

I have both the the light smoked in 4" and the dark grey in the 6" both recurved. The light smoked you could easily see through, but the dark grey, is very dark, and I would not recommend if you want to look through it, but it sure does look good, if you can see above it
I have had several CV W/S, I now run the Grey tint and it is just fine i can slouch and look thru it or sit up and look over it. The smoke is much clearer, but it has a brownish color that I did not like with my black bike. If you dont peel the plastic off the clearview ( you can pull it down to check the darkness) you can returnit. I have always run the W/S and when I decide to change I sell it on the forum. ClearView are the best imho. Call John and ask how dark the batch is.
Thanks again guys. I was just concerned that if I rode in the early morning when it's still dark if it would be almost opaque. I like to look over the shield but it's nice to see through on things close around you. I want to go with the dark grey so it more matches the adjustable wind deflectors.
