Default Power Commander or Race Tuner

I'm sure it's been covered in depth in various technical aspects but generally speaking, what's the better route to go here? I'm picking up my new to me EGC this weekend and next will be a good quality set of slips ons and air filter to make her breath. A good friend and mechanic who did my RG engine build is suggesting the Power Commander route...

So........ what do yall think ?

That scoot has all them mods, but running a stock breather. That's criminal!!! Your right, this topic has been covered before. Use the search function and you will get hours of reading material. Good luck and ride safe.
Ummm, never mind, should have read the whole post.

Getting ready for Jamie to give the green light on the PC V for the 08's, then I will plug and play and ride. Don't want to pay extra for a race tuner and extra for someone to tune it for me. To many happy customers from Jamie with his set ups.

Like the man said, PCIII. Stay away from the dyno until you are sure about the mods. $250.00 for a map is pretty steep with you decide to add or change something in a month or so. Use a can map or call tech support before you purchase the PC, they are a great bunch of people to deal with. At least that has been my experience.
