Default Handlebarmania

I have read so many threads on the 08' RK bars. I too have an 08' and been playing around with the options. One buddy of mine put the Heritage on his and they put me too far back. Well the other day at a dealership, an 06' RK had those street slammer bars. I sat on the bike and my arms and hands rested right in place with them. Now I have had drags on hard and soft tails, but this is my first bagger. Anyone have any experience with riding any length of time with these on your bagger? I really don't like my hands turning in to my body like so many bars do. These drags feel great with your hands out yet bar closer to you than stock. So far the only con I see is cost of changing everything, inc. the bar.

I just put a set of street slammers on at the end of the season and I love em. You don't have to change any cables. They feel comfortable and look good. I didn't have a chance to go on any long rides as in hundreds of miles. But who cares that's why God made cruise control. LOL

I have a set of Wild one WO 550 beach bars and love them. Cables worked fine but I probably will extend the brake line a couple inches when I make the switch to braided. I extended the wires only because I ran them internally. I think you could get away without extending them.
