The wife and I are watching another big snow dump here west of Boston, MA and so we've started thinking about a possible 7-10 day trip this summer and are looking for suggestions. We've done Nova Scotia twice, including the Cabot Trail; Newfoundland once; Yellowstone, Tetons, Glacier, etc. We are interested in scenery and are curious if anyone might recommend a ride up into Canada? Perhaps around Lake Ontario? Up the coasts? Thanks for any ideas.
I was thinking the Skyline Drive/Blueridge Parkway ride, but thats south of where you want to head. Take a ride out to Miklwakee and visit the HD museum, then head north?
Myself, I may be going to the national HOG rally in OKC this june if I can swing the time off.

How did you like Nova Scotia? I am planning on taking the ferry from Portland over this summer...then loop back into Maine and cruise down the coast.
I'm from the Portland area and have done the trip on the Cat out of Bar Harbor. It is about 1/2 half the time as it would be from Portland and 1/2 the $ Bar Harbor is a great little town with lots to explore including Cadillac Mt. Once in N.S. Yarmouth is nice as well as Halifax but as for riding take the trip to Cape Brenton and the Cabot Trial. Make sure you check into what is needed for ID to cross the boarder. Also some friendly advice is to buy and take a motion sickness product BEFORE getting on the Cat.. I dont care what the brochure says ,it can be a very long uncomfortable ride when the hurlfest starts..Please do not ignore this advice!! For more info on the Portland or Maine area feel free to PM
