Who else is tired of the blame game and bickering going on amongst forum members in the classifieds? I'm thinking, it's becoming old and we need to look at how we all handle buying and selling parts and accessories on here!
I, personally, have been screwed on here, and it's all up to US to police our own sales and buying experiences.
If it looks to good to be true............... It probably is!
Other than that, I really enjoy this forum and all it has to offer.
There's some form or another of bickering on every thread. It's not just limited to the classifieds.
It's buyer beware anywhere in the world ... the internet is no different.
You are correct. But when you are dealing with another mans/womens wallet it gets personal. Buyer beware is a given anywhere you make a purchase.
I really feel there are a lot of good people on here, and as usual there are a lot of A-Holes F'n it up for the rest.............
I'd like to give a shout out to many people on here... SIFULARSON, JCBPA, DAWG, to name a few. Others, you know who you are, are right up there as well. You all make this place worth coming back!
No real answer here, Jackholes will find a way to F things up no matter what you do to try to stop them and this is not E-Bay. There are Jackhole buyers and sellers and absolutely no protection here.
I do agree that classifieds should only allow the original person to post then change it to show sold or remove it all together. This is not E-Bay and it is truly buyer beware, and any type of communication about something for sale should be private between the buyer and seller.
I would hope that everyone is honest and just wants to sell something to help out a fellow rider, but as we all know that is just not the case.
If you want to buy or sell something and want some type of protection, use an auction site.
