Default Question about IED's

Do these things increase the fuel to air ratio at idle? Seems to me that is the most help would be needed to reduce engine temp.

They'll increase (richen) the a/f ratio in all closed loop operation. That would be at idle once the ecm comes out of cold start enrichment mode also. I used them and then went to the xied's when they came out....about 3 weeks later! I would have preferred to have gone with the xied's straight away. But that's another matter.

I'm no longer using them due to engine upgrades that required more expensive (read SEST) and extensive fuel management methods. I've never actively tried to sell them yet. But if you think you want to try either version, drop me a pm, I'd part with them for a fair price.

I was thinking of getting a set of the IXED's but was not sure if they were worth what they sell for. Since summer if coming up and I would like to try to cool off the engine heat a little but I might be interested in buying those from you. If you still have them for sale thst is?

I have used the xied's on 2 bikes and have been happy with them. I did notice a heat decrease, more pop in the throttle and very little mileage decrease. I was running stock a/c and slip on mufflers with both, then I even went to Stage 1 a/c on one bike and it ran like a raped date.

You're not likely to see a engine light, but it can cause transient lean codes to be stored. I had them come up several times. They don't result in any type of running or rideability problems. They just get stored in the ecm as a past fault code.
