Default IPOD connection?

Hey all I know the front of my stereo has the IPOD plug (08 Street Glide) but I was wondering if there was also a plug on the rear of the HK radios? Anyone know?

There isn't one, but you can add one as my buddy did to his '06 EG Classic by following the directions in this link:

my 06 doesnt have one in the back just front-ride safe

I did the hardwire setup described in the CVO link provided above on my 06. I love it! I no longer have a wire sticking out of the front. I permanently ran the cord along the wires on the underside of the bars and attached it by my Ipod mount. The reason I did mine is the solder connections on the front plug in eventually broke because of the constant vibration and stress of the cord swinging around.

sounds like it's time for the moco to upgrade the radio, they've done most everything else on the touring bikes

Default ?? about the CVO write up

where does the wire in reply #7 come from? he shows the 3 wires at the original jack, are these to be removed and routed to the rear of the unit?

any help would be great...looks like something i would like to do yet this winter.
