I got Progressive, and I had a wreck in Sept. I can hardly wait to see what my new rate is gonna be..........nobody to blame but me either. Oh, well wasn't seriously injured and rode the bike home the other day fixed up good as new.
I don't know about the Formost motorcycle insurance, but they insure my home. The last two hurricanes (Ike $ Rita) we took serious hits. They were right there, money in hand. They even overnighted me a grand to run my generator and get essentials to sustain for a couple of weeks in my RV. When it came to suplimental payments, they paid it, no questions asked. (they did verify them)
Considering there are still "Blue roofs" all over the region because insurance companies & mortgage companies are jerking people around, Formost did us right. I know this isn't motorcycles, but it's a company history.
I'm going to check out their MC rates. I'm with Geico now.
Found this to be true with most anything associated with AARP.
I have to agree.
My wife and I did a living trust thru them thru a mail offer.
They had a rep come to the house,we talked and purchased. The attorney was legit.
Found out from another attorney(well known)that this living trust is just a generic draft that would not be in our/kids best interest.Would have been ok if we were worth 7mil.Ended up getting a new one.
I'm an AARP member and called them last night for a quote. They were 200 higher than progessive that I have now, same coverage strait across. I pay 447 a year now with progressive. Maybe I'm to close to the big city of Houston.
Thanks for everyone's input I greatly appreciate all
I currently carry low coverages because of the cost but I do have fire/theft 1000 det, collision 500 det, Uninsured motorist, PIP and some other coverages not big limits but enough on my 08 FLHTC never an accident and ticket in the last 10yrs
Progressive thru HD I pay $981.00, If I pay in full otherwise $1144
Quotes I got were
State Farm $1800, they would only write me if I had auto with them, their great rate as they called it for my cars was double what Im paying now!! LOL
Geico $1275 and I have auto with them!
Dairyland $ 1683
Markal $1475
Now like I said I have a clean license AARP member so ya guess my age, excellent credit, homeowner 2 cars insured and me and the OL no tickets or accidents. Although I live in "Fun City" New York City!!
Now the grand winner Foremost Insurance $797.00 an effin bargin, damn!!

I started out with Foremost 4 years ago. $275 per year full coverage 100,000\300,000. Full replacement and $1000 accessories. Last year it cost me $165. It is coming up again next month. Maybe it will be even lower.
